After experiencing many emotional debates in her University Philosophy classes on the plight of African Elephants, Tonia Neame started her tour business, Tusker Trails.
Elephants have a special place in everyone’s heart; it is with this in mind that Tonia wanted to take guests on a special journey with the elephants. Her aim is to enrich guests with interesting knowledge as well as the many dilemmas’ facing African Elephants today and to offer the wondrous experience of elephants in the wild as well as up close encounters with elephants in captivity.
To ensure this journey would be unique, Tonia contacted Howard Blight, author of An Elephant Bloodline, co-founder of Elephants for Africa Forever and former Wildlife Consultant in Zimbabwe.
